Alcohol Free Borough?
Extend the DPPO for the whole of the Borough, please show your support

No Drinking
Since we launched our Campaign on the 16th March to extend the DPPO (Designated Public Place Orders), to stop the drinking of alcohol in public places, we have been overwhelmed by the positive response.
Our Chairman, Roy, has spent many an evening responding to all the e-mails that he has been receiving.
Roy and Cllr Andrea Jenkyns has been on BBC Radio Lincolnshire talking about the campaign, and we made front page headlines in the Boston Target, (Please see link below)
We have been working hard contacting other Borough Council's around the Country who have been successful in implementing it,
Many Parish Councils and local businesses have also offered their support to our campaign.
What are your views? We are listening.
Schemes have been successful in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Windsor so why not in Boston. It would help to tackle the issues of litter and Anti-social behaviour and have a positive impact on the town.
