CAISTOR ARMY CADETS
The Army Cadet Force is a youth organisation sponsored by the army.  Cadets can join at 12 years old in year 8 at secondary school.  We do a variety of things including, drill, shooting, skill at arms, map and compass, fieldcraft, adventurous training, citizenship, physical achievement and first aid.  As part of our adventure training we do rock climbing, abseiling, canoeing, hill walking and there are opportunities too to go skiing.
We are part of Lincolnshire ACF which covers the whole of Lincolnshire all the way down to Stamford, across to Long Sutton and back up to Skegness, our area covers 8 Detachments which form 4 Company, we are located in Market Rasen, Coningsby, Gainsborough, Horncastle, Louth, North Somercotes, Mablethorpe and of course Caistor.
Caistor Detachment parade on a Tuesday evening 1900hrs – 2100hrs, we are located in Caistor Yarborough School, in classroom M6.

We have 3 main weekends a year plus a 4 day basic camp for new cadets and a 10 day annual camp in August, plus many other events such as athletics competitions, cross country and swimming comps, plus first aid courses etc.

Launched this Summer, Fusion Youth Theatre is open to ALL children aged between 11 – 16 years from Caistor and its rural community.

 Six sessions delivered this term beginning Tuesday 15th September 2009

 Fusion Youth Theatre is a well established company, and offer endless experience to young people interested in working creatively. They offer to members, an opportunity to join them on their annual International Project, and in 2010, they will be visiting Greece.

 As part of the launch, children have received the first 18 week introductory period for free, with a small weekly fee to come in thereafter. Places are still available.

 September to October 2009 – Attendance is Free

November to December 2009 – Attendance is Free

January onwards – Only £3 per week!

 Town Hall-Arts room (Booking is required*). Toddling Tots 10.30 - 11.15am: for confident walkers up to the age of 2 -2.5 years

Tiny Tots from 11.30 - 12.00pm: for children as young as 12/14 weeks - up to good walkers.
