Events

All events that take place at the Mill are FREE entry unless otherwise stated, however donations are always very welcome.

All events are from 11am to 4pm (with the Mill closing at 4.30pm) unless otherwise stated.

The mill holds regular milling days on the second Sunday of the month. Watch the mill in operation making stone ground flour. Dates for 2017 are:

13 August, 10 September, 8 October, 12 November, 10 December.

The Adventures of Molly & Floyd, launching Sunday 9 July

See what Molly & Floyd are getting up to over the summer holidays. Follow them as they take a trip along Sleaford’s Riverside discovering places to go and lots of fun to enjoy throughout the summer! For more information visit ww.heartoflincs.com for more information.

Heritage Open Days, Saturday 9 & Sunday 10 September

Once again all three venues will be taking part in the Heritage Open Days designed to encourage visitors to explore their local history and heritage. There will be a free fun family trail at each centre on both days and you can see Cogglesford Watermill in action on Sunday.

Halloween at Cogglesford Mill, Tuesday 31 October, 6 to 7.30pm

Join in with lots of ghostly fun as this creaky old mill celebrates Halloween. Explore the mill and follow terrifying trails before settling down with some spooky stories. Fancy dress welcome, suitable for all ages.

Cogglesford Watermill received

North Kesteven District Council is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join their tourism team.

Proud to champion tourism, North Kesteven District Council supports four visitor centres within the District offering a unique experience for all ages.

Open to the public all year round, each venue has a distinctive story linking the site to local history, capturing the imagination of visitors young and old and giving people the opportunity to learn about their local heritage.

The tourism team at North Kesteven District Council are looking for new, enthusiastic volunteers to join their team. Working within the visitor venues, you will provide excellent customer service creating a memorable experience for all visitors.

You will have the opportunity to learn new skills including heritage skills such as milling, traditional ironworking; not to mention gaining experience in a customer service environment and meeting a wide range of new people.

Opportunities are available at Cogglesford Watermill, Cranwell Aviation Heritage Centre, Navigation House and Welbourn Forge. You will be a part of a hardworking team who are committed to delivering results, promoting tourism wherever possible and attracting new visitors to the District.

There are no minimum hours required and times are flexible to suit you. Minimum age for all volunteers is 17 years old.
