Events

All events that take place at the Mill are FREE entry unless otherwise stated, however donations are always very welcome.

The mill holds regular milling days on the second Sunday of the month March to December. Watch the mill in operation making stone ground flour. Dates for 2018 are:

10 June, 8 July, 12 August, 9 September, 14 October, 11 November, 9 December.

Heritage Open Days, Saturday 8 & Sunday 9 September

Explore your local history and heritage by taking part in our Heritage Open Days.  Join a free fun family trail at each venue and see Cogglesford Watermill in action on Sunday.

Halloween at Cogglesford Mill, Wednesday 31 October, 6 to 7.30pm

Have lots of ghostly fun as this creaky old mill celebrates Halloween. Explore the mill and follow terrifying trails before settling down with some spooky stories. Fancy dress welcome, suitable for all ages.

Christmas Present Trails, Saturday 1 to Friday 21 December

Help Molly the Mill Mouse, Dora the Duck and Charlie the Crane find their lost presents. Each venue has its own family trail - so explore these fascinating places looking for clues before claiming your own Christmas gift.

Festive Milling Day, Sunday 9 December, 11am to 4pm

The mill will be rumbling into action for the last time this year. Join us for a festive milling day and enjoy a complementary mince pie and glass of sherry. Everything you need to get you in the festive mood!

North Kesteven District Council is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join their tourism team.

The tourism team at North Kesteven District Council are looking for new, enthusiastic volunteers to join their team.

Opportunities are available at Cogglesford Watermill, Cranwell Aviation Heritage Museum and Navigation House.

There are no minimum hours required and times are flexible to suit you. Minimum age for all volunteers is 17 years old.

When in Sleaford... Arts & Heritage trail

The When in Sleaford... trail features artworks which take their inspiration from Sleaford's rich history. Eighteen bronze roundels, created by artist David Mackie, are sited on walls and in pathways in and around Sleaford, leading you to discover historic buildings, visitor attractions and existing artworks in the town.

Pick up a free trail map from Navigation House, The National Centre for Craft and Design, Sleaford Museum or Cogglesford Mill, or visit www.artsnk.org/when-in-Sleaford to download a map. Children's sticker packs are also available to purchase for a small charge.
