Welcome to the ‘Adam Gibbons Sports Foundation Fund’ website. Adam was a wonderful son, brother and friend to many. Everyone knew his love of sport, from football to judo, golf to snooker, Adam played it. So it was decided the best way to remember Adam was to set up a charity to help talented young people in the local area achieve their potential. So far, over £55,000 has been raised through donations and charity events set up by friends and family of Adam and over £20,000 has been donated to help talented young sports people.
In March 2010, the fund teamed up and now sponsors the Lincolnshire Elite Athlete Programme (LEAP). Both organisations strive towards helping youngsters reach their potential in a range of sports.
