General Information

The Reservoir is open to members throughout the year. Gates to the centre are locked outside of club use for security, but keys are available to members on joining. (The gates are always open during club sessions).

The centre has ample parking, with changing rooms and hot showers. There is also a bar, which is open during sailing sessions.Boat launching is from the slipway and there are three jetties for mooring.

Boat / Categories permitted to launch: All one design sailing dinghies.

Categories not permitted to launch: Powerboats other than the rescue boats, during sailing sessions and craft over 16 feet.

Handicap racing is held on Thursday evenings and Sundays, people of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join the fun. Those not wishing to race can cruise for pleasure.

Boats currently being sailed are: RS200, RS400, RS Vareo, Albacore, OK, Laser, Laser Radial, Sunfish, Streaker,Topaz, Finn. A number of other assorted craft grace the dinghy park along with a small number of Cats.
